Incredible OB/GYN Physician Opportunity in Anchorage, Alaska

  • Women’s Health Clinic Hours are Monday to Friday; 9-5
    • 8-10 patients on a full day
  • In house Call is one twelve hour one day and one night, one week back up call rotated through 10 OB-GYN’s-next day off after night call; CNM’s are first call – deliver 90% of general deliveries; OB’s are back up. 
    • OB call is in-house 24/7.
  • Approximately 25% of the practice is OB (11% C-sections, 30% high risk); 75% is GYN. We average 1500 deliveries per year.
  • The Women’s Health Clinic currently employs 10 OB/GYN’s, 11 CNM’s, 10 RN Case Managers, LPN, Lab Tech, X-ray tech and a Clinic Manager
  • The Alaska Native Medical Center has 160 beds, 5 L&D rooms, 12 post partum rooms and a level II nursery.
  • Integrated into system: Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, Pediatrics (both general Pediatrics & Pediatric Hospitalists), Health Educators, Nutritionists, Social Workers, Midwives, Pharmacists, Home Health and easy access to specialists.
  • Integrated model also includes Complementary Health and Traditional Native Healing
